About Our Doctor

Jan Radzik, MD has been in private medical practice since 1985. He received his medical degree from Jagiellonian University College of Medicine, one of Europe's most respected and oldest universities, which has been teaching medicine since 1364.

Dr. Radzik is Family Practice residency trained and a member of the Oregon Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and American Holistic Medical Association.

Dr. Radzik is a Founding Diplomate of the American Board of Holistic Medicine. He received his medical education in Europe, where the use of botanical preparations, vitamins, and nutritional interventions is an integral part of mainstream medical practice. Dr. Radzik utilizes all of these resources to the benefit of his patients.

His interest in safe, inexpensive, and effective herbal and other natural remedies dates back to 1960's, when he was studying and identifying medicinal herbs. This interest continued during his six-year medical school program that included instructions on various botanical preparations.

About Our Practice

Welcome to Oregon Whole Health, the place where comprehensive health care integrates the best of conventional as well as proven alternative therapies.

We specialize in disease prevention, nutritional medicine, skilled use of vitamins and botanical preparations and, when appropriate, prescription medications, specialist referrals and hospital care.

It is our desire to work with each patient to address his or her individual needs, and to achieve the best possible health. Such a partnership in healing brings the best results.

Our motto is: "The best and most successful patient is the well-informed patient."

Here, the patient always has a choice. One may choose to use the integrative approach or one based more heavily on the allopathic or conventional approach.

Whatever the choice, patients have the assurance that their care is based on sound scientific principles.

Remember: THE GREATEST MEDICINE OF ALL IS TO TEACH PEOPLE HOW NOT TO NEED IT.
